Joe Cooper / Designer

About me

I design software interfaces and experiences. For over a decade, I've worked with complex products, using design to help expose the power of technology.

I lead design at DHIS2, where I’m responsible for the user experience of the world's largest health information system. I work across research, strategy, software design, design systems, engineering, and more.

Curious to learn more? DHIS2 is open-source, so you can see a lot of my work on Github, like the components, principles, and patterns of the DHIS2 Design System.

In the future, I want to continue using design to make the benefits of technology accessible to everyone. I'm interested in public services, global infrastructure, and design at scale. If that's interesting to you too, feel free to get in touch.
